6x15" daily comic strip boards contain original pencil art by George Olesen (1924 - 2013) who was an American comic book artist, best known for his work as a penciller on popular comic strip The Phantom. He worked with the character for around forty years, although he did not get any official credit for it until penciller Sy Barry retired and Keith Williams took over as the new inker. Strips inked by Keith Williams. Dated 9/17/1994, 11/30/1994, 5/1/1999 and 8/28/2002. Numbered at top #90, 42, 21. 11/30 strip has borders neatly trimmed so is not numbered. Contents have Phantom in all. Two signed by Williams. Lt. aging/wear. Exc. Ed Rhoades Collection.
