DescriptionFrom 'Special Effects!' issue. This issue takes place after the Fallen Angels mini-series, before Warlock and Sunspot return to the NM. Clearly, Sunspot still has some issues to work out if he's punchin' kids. The original overlay got lost to time I'm assuming, so thank you ML for making a new one for this cover! Social/Sharing |

Great cover, congrats! This one's got it all - and Franklin's back too!

Barta's inks does a great job of making the kids be kids and Spidey, Warlock, and Sunspot look so sleek in all inky black. Power Pack was not a main title, but they had a lot of backing from editors and get some big time guest stars to keep tying them to the 616!

You landed the cover with Sunspot, Warlock AND Spidey as guest-stars? Kick ass, man, congratulations!

Really enjoyed this series back in the day. Loved June Brigman's work on it. And also enjoyed Bogdanove's run after that. This is a terrific cover from John's run.

Bog could really draw children (and not tiny adults). Sunspot and Black Spidey have always made for great graphic elements and this cover is hard proof of it.

It looks like Sunspot was not granted the rank of Master - look out kids! Luckily Spidey Won Kenobi is there to help out.

Say what you want but we know you're really into this cover because of Warlock.

Da Costa features! Nice overall composition to this action packed cover, and Spidey guesting is a sweet bonus! Congrats!
