Description

Continuing to explore the far corners of the DCU.

Last week I mentioned Fire and Ice of JLI fame were once members of the Global Guardians and were also known as Green Flame and Ice Maiden. I thought it would be fun to see them before they became Fire & Ice.

You can see Ice Maiden and Green Flame with fellow Global Guardians teammates Tasmanian Devil (who also went on to join the JLA) and Rising Sun on this cool title page from Infinity Inc. Wildcat, Nuklon, Jade, Obsidian and Solomon Grundy representing Infinity inc. Fun page with a nice group of superheroes.

Infinity Inc was my favorite book while it was being published. It was the book that started it all. It introduced me to the world of superheroes. From Ordway to McFarlane to Argondezzi to Bair, I loved it all. I'm glad to add a great title page to my Infinity Inc collection.

That's a totally innovative Todd layout. Normally, it would have been done 180 degrees to have the characters face right. McFarlane probably took the opportunity to try something new as this was the last issue.

Such a killer opening page with soe great team shots! I love how Grundy looks on this page too.

Green Flame and Ice Maiden look more like Green Flame and Lightning Lass. I'm glad they became Fire and Ice! Cool diagonal splash with great Soloman Grundy appearance. I love how Jade is trying hard to make sure Grundy doesn't mistakenly kill Obsidian!

Great title page from an 80s fave book of yours...can't beat it! Love the layout here, and so many characters featured. Congrats!
