Nice homage! I just sent ComicLink a Spider-Girl #52 cover for their November auction that pays tribute to the same image. It's definitely iconic!

A leap for joy. It was a rare moment with Batman and Robin's triumphant return to Gotham which is what made it so special of a splash. Pace captures that joy with Jonny, Hadji, and Bandit as they return in this dynamite of a series.

Interesting that Pace used a style much closer to his own than the animated look from the first issue cover. But that makes more sense here since he was homaging Miller and Janson's Dark Knight splash.
