A great looking and nostolgic page!
There's no way we would have gotten the same pathos out of Cyclops as we see here from Storm. No one would buy his squareness as an outsider as this story required someone who would relate with the Morlocks and outcasts as we see here. The X-Men really took shape here to fight for mutant rights. Classic cover, classic storyline, classic Leonardi!
Awesome piece, full of great history, nostalgia and emotion. This is a home run for any deep X-Men fan, the era of the Mutant Masacre is one of the best, it's full of drama and sadness, which I just love.
Gorgeous! Love Storm with this look/time period. Congrats!
Leonardi and Green were great together!!! Awesome page
Mo hawk > less hawk
Leonardi was so good on this book! Green def doesn't hurt...
Beauty of a page Jason, each panel has it's own emotional impact on the viewer !!!
Awww man, I read the panels and you went ahead and made me sad (again).
Great Storm in every panel. Excellent!
Another world class addition - you don't see these pop up a lot
Emotional and beautiful page, epithomizing why we all loved the X-Men. Leonardi's style is truly distinctive. Special mention for Green's inks, the constant unifier of the XM's look in the '80s
Great Storm page. Congrats!
Mohawk Storm is always fun! This was such a fantastic run, congrats on a fantastic pickup!!
Love that Headmaster Magneto in the top panel!
Prime Mutant Massacre art! Would love to have a Marauders page from this storyline!
Good is an understatement. This page is FANTASTIC! Congrats!
This is just FANTASTIC!
The expressions Leonardi captures are so clear. Palpable sadness really make this page impactful.
These run of issues for UXM are just so fun and nostalgic. Great pick up Jason!!!!
this is amazing, great storytelling, art team, and deep subject material. traumatic perhaps yes for a young comic reader and now even more meaningful as an adult with life experience. congrats!
Some super storytelling from Leonardi, depecting this somber aftermath scene. Love those last 2 shots of Storm...emotive stuff. Big congrats on a prime example from a prime X event, man!
Storm in every panel!!! AYKM!!!
Excellent page. I want.
Awesome page! Congrats!
Touching moment.
A great page from the best period of the X-Men. Congratulations
Baller.
