I always enjoyed the Buckler/McLeod combination. Nice cover with multiple team members in action!

Some would look at the date on this and maybe call it late period Buckler. But this was almost 30 years BEFORE we lost him. Great team cover with wall to wall action.

Ok... I love this... incredible cover from a period I remember so well, everything you could want from a NM cover and the cherry on top is McLeod being the co-creator and having a hand in this. Thank you for sharing!

Extra credit points for Buckler to break the logo with Cannonball! It might have been a Hannigan thing, but carried out with precision by Buckler and McLeod.

Any cover centered around Dani (even if possessed by the bad guy), I'm in! Great composition in this classic. Congrats!

Wow! Absolutely breathtaking New Mutants cover by Rich Buckler and Bob McLoed! Love this era of comic covers that depicted the most important scenes from inside the comic! Some of them were pretty wild, including this one! So you've got Dani Moonstar and her Pegasus on fire! And Sam Churchill (Cannonball) is coming to her aid! Meanwhile, Sunspot is trying to lasso the Pegasus and everyone else is trying to help as well. Rich Buckler does a great job of squeezing everything in, but it's a jam-packed cover! So much action in so little space! I love it!
