Description

This strip was a Halloween treat featuring Witch Hazel Macbeth and an appearance by the Spirit's arch nemesis, the Octopus. I'm not sure which of Eisner's studio assistants worked on this, but possibly Jerry Grandenetti and a couple others. This page has the added bonus of being signed by Eisner at the bottom.

The witch has such a great look! Just grotesque enough to fit into this world, but still gives off an innocent warmth. Plus Weezy bites it showing the brutality of the Octopus! A Halloween date strip delight!
