Description

On the final page, a neighborhood begins rebuilding after a long period of corporate-induced drought. There's no dialogue; the pictures speak for themselves as a family returns to the home they thought they would have to sell. This is the same family we saw moving out back on pages 10-14, sadly putting up the "For Sale" sign that they now remove with joy.

Note the river in the background, with a boat and dock emphasizing the extent of the recovery. The trees have regained their foliage as well.

That's the end of the story! Starting tomorrow, I'll be posting another Dampyr book. Its gallery can be found here.

Ready to move in!  Renovated everything!  This home is cable and satellite ready!  3 baths, 3 bedrooms, a view of the river, and best of all no longer in a flood zone!

Creatively I may have had the kid write "NOT" on the FOR SALE sign in big black marker - but I guess that's why I'm not a comic book writer because tossing the sign feels more final. Interesting overall story. I'm looking forward to more inky dark Dampyr work!

Nice epilogue.
