DescriptionClassic issue from Amazing Spider-man #230 - 1982! IMO one of the best pages from the comic!"To Fight the Unbeatable Foe" After seeking to employ the services of Madame Web for his friend Black Tom Cassidy, the unstoppable Juggernaut has ripped Madame Web from her life support chair, leaving her near death. After this act of callous brutality, the Juggernaut simply walked away, toward the ship which brought him to New York, and from there to journey away from the city. Spider-Man, saddened and angered by his failure to save his psychic arachnid-themed friend, swears to stop the Juggernaut or die trying! Social/Sharing |

This story I remember , there was Juggernaut running around New York looking for Madame Web and Spidey tries hard to stop him, he only succeeds by driving him into fresh concrete!
Fabulous page from the mythical 80's, congratulations Jon!

Everyone loves this story as it displays the best of what made Spider-Man so popular. He's up against impossible odds, until he breaks through, showing all of us to never quit!

Wow Jon you are on such a roll these days!! I love this page for so many reasons. The dynamic between Spidey and Juggernaut puts me in mind of long walks I used to take in Minnesota lake country where I would always be plagued by an annoying horse-fly buzzing around my head. I would swat at it, and maybe even connect once or twice, but moments later, "zzzzzz" there it was zooming round me again. So yeah I'm the Juggernaut in that scenario. Who, by the way, has now permanently welded on his helmet so that he can never again take it off. Think about that for a sec! Anyway, such a great sequence of panels and perspectives. Congrats!!

This is up there as a top panel page of all time. This one is spectacular, the top super hero fighting one of the X-Mens greatest villains.
