Jacques Tardi, at his finest here, masterfully conveys through the simplicity of his lines the dark, icy sensation of rain pounding the cobblestones of Parisian streets, and the chilling, murderous intent of the strangler. As Tardi retained the entire story, this cover is the only work from the series Le Secret de l'Étrangleur available on the market. Presented at the 7th Biennale du 9e Art in 2013 in Cherbourg, this story left no one unmoved.Social/Sharing |
