Description

Mark Farmer's inks complemented Byrne's pencils very well on this job on JLA Classified (this wasn't too long after they had worked on the Superman: True Brit one-shot). It would be the last published work from John Byrne for DC If I'm not mistaken.

I've often read the opinion that Byrne's quality slipped in the 90's and 00's but I think his work on this short stint on JLA Classified was excellent.

Farmer did a lot to bring out the magic of Byrne's pencils. As a storyteller, Byrne's anatomy and facial expressions are stellar. You get the big three with the Atom. Plus it looks like classic WW getting out of bondage with her own magic lasso!
