DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11x17" Marvel Comics art board contains landscape oriented original art for the cover to the August 1994 issue #14 of Hero Illustrated magazine by John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson. Image contains full figure characters of the Punisher, Batman, Joker, Jigsaw and Azrael. 10x14.25" image size. Image was flopped for printing as cover was a fold out instead of a wrap-around. The one-shot comic that this cover was based on, was released in October 1994, a joint venture by DC/Marvel. Also included with this artwork are six copies of the press samples of the unused cover for the printed comic book "Punisher/Batman: Deadly Knights". The second of two Punisher and Batman crossovers published for 1994. The Punisher In Gotham! has Jigsaw teaming up with the Joker and Batman wants to take them all down. Appearances by Commissioner Gordon, Micro, Robin, Alfred. Written by Chick Dixon. Proofs unused and Exc. Original art for the Hero Illustrated cover has lt. aging/wear. Lt. soiling in margins. Exc.
