Here's a beautiful cover that Joelle Jones did for a TMNT SDCC exclusive... I have mentioned before that I was a big fan of the turtles as a teenager, so I've been trying to add some cool pieces to my collection. Bill had a show with Joelle a couple of months ago, and this was one of the pieces that Joelle had available, so I jumped to claim it... I am a big fan of Joelle's work, and I think she did an amazing job in this one. I love how Splinter is right at the center, with the busts of the 4 turtles right behind him, and I really like the reflection/shadow in the foreground. I personally don't think the colors did this piece justice, but thankfully the black and white art just looks awesome!!

Very cool fan design to the #1 cover! The inky pools that come to the foreground are very cool.

You know, I was never a big Splinter fan, but this is an excellent rendition of him and a great layout overall, perhaps better suited for use as a movie poster!
