I found JC about a year ago in a Facebook group. He blew me out of the water with my Dejah Thoris piece and I’ve been wanting another. I can still afford him for now, but I’m guessing at any minute he is gonna be picked up by Marvel, DC, Imiage, or upcoming company.

I really love Star Wars and Slave Leia is just iconic for me. I gave him just a couple suggestions, slave Leia and maybe off planet after their escape from Jabba because a sand background is boring. I was thinking like her walking away from Han and doing a slight turn…..and told him to just “do your thing”….man did he ever! That falcon in the background! LOVE IT!

He sent me lots of updates as the commission was coming together and in 24 hours or less it was completed. He watered down ink to get the different color tones as he has a distaste for the smell of copic markers. Crazy cool how it turned out!

Just love this piece!
