Description

Wonderful nuanced, expressive brushwork. I wasn't familiar with this artist until I saw this strip! It ran from 1936-1965. This one is undated on the front, but has a stamp that says 1942 on the back, along with legendary collector Murray Harris' stamp.

Congrats on acquiring a honey of a Sunday page, Roger! Scarbo was wonderful. The date of publication is July 19, 1942. I've just sent you a pic of the printed version on FB.
