Description

An unmoderated panel at Heroes Comic Con in Brussels led to a lenghty draw-off between Tom Grummett and Cully Hamner. While I think they were supposed to draw 1 character each during a 45 minute stretch, Cully was extremely fast and continued to draw. Tom followed suit.

In the end, there were 8 or 9 drawings, which Tom and Cully decided to give away to the people interested. You had to guess a number and whoever was closest, won.

I got lucky and snagged two of them. The second one is this Bizarro. I'd never ask Cully Hamner for this Superman villain, but I absolutely love the "work-in-progress" vibe this has. I'm glad he did not remove the pencil lines on this 9x12 sketch.

Bizarro is a great character for artists to put their own spin on and Cully does not disappoint, with a rendition unqiuely his own. fantastic.

And it was completely his own choice to draw the character, so that's always nice.
