DescriptionAstonishing X-Men is probably my favourite works by Joe Mad. Such a cool cast of characters and redesigns. Sabretooth with the leashed Wild Child; Sunfire and his badass containment suit; the screwball Morph; and the all the rest.I also loved the title for this issue, "Once More with Feeling." I can’t say I recall any other particular titles to comics from my early years. A dark humour poke on a musical line. Like Magneto telling the X-Men to put a bit more emotion into it, as they run off to their certain doom, trying to stop Holocaust culling the population of Chicago. Some killer colors and contrasts by Steve Buccellato. Social/Sharing |
