Everything mechanical about this page is great! From the press to the instrument panel, McLeod makes everything look state of the art. It's like a lab experiment with Professor X testing his student's limits.

Actually, I LOVE the size of the hydraulic press. It makes sense when you consider that Xavier at this point is well aware of the existence of super powered beings like the Hulk. He doesn't know what the mutants he seeks to help will be able to do or how powerful they may be. The sheer size of it also helps make it easier on the reader to imagine just how much powere a character like Cannonball possesses. I really love the bottom panel, too. I always enjoy seens shot from within the control room of the Danger Room. The lighting effect by McLeod is really nice as well!
