Amazing and wild page by one of the two greatest artists of the good Doctor (together with Gene Colan) and beautifully, early inkwork by Giordano before he worked at DC for decades ! Truly "magic" battle action art :)

Classic issue 1!  It signalled a new era for Marvel and Brunner was able to take the stories to a new level of comics psychedelic sophistication!

Wowza! What a cool page from Doctor Strange #1 by Frank Brunner! Frank really made a name for himself during his run on Doctor Strange and on this page you can see why. Here, Strange is enveloped by strange tentacles and he is caught in the snare of an enormous insect-like creature from another dimension. Brunner's flawless style makes all this seem perfectly believable. And when Doctor Strange finally decidea to unleash his power in the final panel, Brunner makes the scene memorable. Fabulous page, great pick-up!
