Description

This is a quick and fun doodle that Yanick spontaneously drew in my New 52 Swamp Thing omnibus when I presented it to him to sign at Belgian Heroes con 2024.

Yanick has switched to digital art for some time except for some covers here and there and those kinda exploded in terms of pricing so I'll take what I can, "even if" it is free ;p

It had been (5?) years since I had seen him after seeing him quite frequently in the 2010 so we kind of caught up with the crazy ridiculous (geeky) and art-deep conversations. Fun stuff before more serious journalistic conversations with his lovely wife (especially in light of the then upcoming US election).

This is dooddle week part 1.

That's because he was notified that if he was going to San Franciso, he had to be sure to wear some flowers in his hair.

nice Swampy remark! def makes it challenging to own his art now that Paquette only works mainly digital now to your point so congrats on the freebie!
