WOW - stunning cover, great compositon and characters this is a keeper for sure!
wowza!!! that's a helluva cover, and amazing to get the corner box art for it too. you've had quite the collecting year and this is a nice one to endcap it with. I think there's a typo in the artist credit "Rush Heath" is listed just FYI though (you might already be correcting it by the time you see this comment)
Corrected the typo and thank you!
Fantastic pick up. Juggernaut never looked better than in the Size Comparison sheet.
Belongs in your colleciton bro, congrats!
Another top notch piece, wow! So many great pieces added this past month. This one is huge, lots of play in many different mediums. Great art and so much more great art history. Huge congrats on another fantastic piece to your collection. Cheers!
Perfect fit for your collection. Super cool cover!
Congrats!
Fantastic cover !
Great way to end the year! I remember buying this issue when it first came out. Congrats! Pure X-Men goodness and super nostalgic!
And BOOM! Fantastic add to an already stellar collection!
Hate to say the best part of this cover is the small image of Forbush Man, but there it is! I said it. Now thats not to say, the X-men aint half bad either. Congrats!
Excellent multi use cover!
Dude! Crossng comics, cartoons, games with this late '80s beaut...can't beat it! You KNOW you've seen those character images as soon as you look at this cover. Congrats!
It's so hard finding an X-Men team shot whether that is a cover or interior page and you landed a great one! Congrats!!!
Iconic X-piece by Russ! Love it! Congrats!
The X-Men animated series has such a great legacy and 2024 brought it back in full force! This may be their first comic cover appearance and it's and explosion of greatness worthy or all the praise it's getting!
The hits keep coming! Congrats
What a way to end 2024! Amazing piece!
This is a very cool piece of art and to get the corner box artwork also is the topping on the cake! Congrats!
"The X-Men don't have room for whiny brats!"
What a year! What a cast! What a cover! What a gentleman and a scholar! Way to close out the year!
If you own the arcade game I'm crashing at your place over the holidays.
Hey keed, ya wanna pace a froot?
Congratulations, James! I absolutely loved ALL the animated X-Men guest appearances from the 1980's and I even bought this issue of Marvel Age off the stands the week it came out. I always loved the irony in knowing that Heath wasn't the biggest fan of the superhero genre and avoided drawing them in comics as much as possible, but then ended up drawing a ton of X-Men when he went into animation. A memorable Marvel Age cover and kudos on getting the Zalme art for the corner box as well!
A much more streamlined approach for Heath than his War comics stuff, proof that he could do it all (quite well).
Such a great cover!!
Wonderful cover and so cool to see all the background and extras! You know I love that stuff. Killer image and easy to see why it was used multiple times. Thanks for sharing it all and congrats my friend.
Unbelievable! Congrats
Beautiful!
What an X-citing way to end 2024! Great cover, congrats!
What;s not to like about this cover??? All the best X-Men are in there, and then there's Cyclops! Another gorgeous pickup!!
What a way to close out the collecting year. That corner box art with Forbush Man is just perfect. And I guess it came with an X-Men cover, which isn't half-bad. Congrats!
I love it! It has a soft flair of New Genesis!!!! It is always beautiful to see the UXM together in a cover!!! Huge congrats!!!
Another great piece! Absolutely fantastic major congrats! Happy Holidays!
Your collection is pretty crazy. Another amazing piece!
Makes me wish Russ Heath had gotten a full X-men run
It is so interesting to see a very different style being used by Heath, showing more of his range as an artist. The clean smooth lines are an eye-opener. The composition is great, as you'd expect from Heath. I had to go to comics.org to check out what the cover ended up looking like in colour.
