The Thanos Quest 1 p29

This story was done in a pretty cool prestige format in two books. The infinity gems, back then called soul gems, with most in the possession of Elders of the Universe. This was all new back in the 90s. It started in the Silver Surfer series leading into these 2 issues followed by Infinity Gauntlet. Awesome stuff!

Ron Lim's artwork in it was fantastic! The originals are on oversized boards making them even more impressive. It is kind of interesting - the first paste-up has a slight typo on the original that carried to the printed page.

This was purchased from a website long gone called comicartwarehouse. It had quite a few Thanos Quest pages. If only I had deeper pockets in those days. Very happy and fortunate to get a few things from that site. A big thank you to it for offering up artwork like this.
