Magnus, Robot Fighter #1 Woah!! $168,000.00 At Auction!!

Just wanted to give an update on crazy prices for George Wilson Art lately. Last 6 pieces collectively over $320,000.00! With Space Family Robinson #1, going for $84,000.00, King Kong going for over $40,000.00, and as you can see, Magnus #1, going for $168,000.00. I believe the last Frazetta went for a little over $250K. And these were all pieces that have been floating around over the last decade. I've only seen one true, nearly pristine Wilson come up for auction in the last 2 and 1/2 years(small fading in foreground, but as painting is red/orange is mostly resistant to fading), that I've never seen before. And I would point out that most of these had fade/sunstrike/sunburn problems!

I recommend a purchase of any of Mr. Wilson's paintings you can find that are pristine(no fading), and clearly show work done by him, for any amount under $5k. With the new book coming out on his art in the next month, his notoriety will only increase.

So happy to see Mr. Wilson finally recognized for this gigantic talent!
