Green Lantern Brightest Day, Blackest Night p 41 - John K Snyder III

I rarely buy art from a book I haven't read. But when it's watercolors by John K Snyder III featuring Alan Scott and Solomon Grundy, you really can't pass it up. And, getting sequential pages is always a treat for me.

So much to love on this page. First, John's use of color. Most Grundy pages are set in a sewer, swamp, or at least a cloudy day. Love seeing him set against the blue sky in that first panel. And the complete lack of fear on Alan's face is a testament to the character.
