My Favorite Cover from this Phenomenal series. Matt Banning outdid himself in Embellishing Jim Starlin!
Perfect contrast, perfect circular sun on helm. Whereas The King conceived Orion’s headgear as a very cool Warhelm, Jim transforms it into something more frightening akin to a Bat! The seething anger of the Warrior’s gaze emanates from the art like something tangible. Standing in front of this allows one to bathe in the essence of Darkseids spawn!
