My only original art purchase for 2024, thanks to the good folks at Brit Comics Art. To my knowledge this cute story from a Legends of the DC Universe special is the only time that Dave Gibbons drew The Doom Patrol, with the added bonus of inks by Sal Buscema, a strange but not unpleasant pairing. Nice retro look to the page. It's laid out like large art from the silver age. Gibbons makes this more elegant than the comics from the 60's but still retains that innocent charm.
