DescriptionI love how Gaydos uses liberal amounts of black on the page. He really sets a scene and creates a MOOD.Here, we have several shots of Peter Parker, and one magnificent shot of Spider-Man swinging through Manhattan in the middle of the page. Really, an iconic shot of Spidey swinging. I saw Mike at a convention in 2023 and was awestruck by the original art he had for sale. Unfortunately, I was not able to buy at that time. Otherwise, I would have walked away with four or five pages ... at least. Something about his art, his style, just really speaks to me. I'd love to get a commission one day. I was lucky to find this a few weeks ago and am happy to add it to my little collection. Social/Sharing |
