DescriptionSo I was watching a Jonah Hex page on Heritage. It went off earliy in the day and was a bit over my OA Budget. I was pretty bummed. Fast forward about 6 hours. I foolishly decided to open up the Heritage app on my phone to lament my loss. A conversation ensued in my head and went somthing like this:Damnit I should have gone higher on that Hex Page. I'm sure I'll never see another one like it again. Oooohhhhh Loooookkkiiieee There. Joe Kubert Sgt Rock Covers are up right now. That one didn't go too bad. That one seemed reasonable. Wow, a Sgt Rock & Santa Claus Cover! I bet that one will go pretty high. I better toss a bid on it just to keep people honest. No shit! Now I can check a Kubert Sgt. Rock off my list. And I have it in time to display for the Holiday. Social/Sharing |

Christmas in July! Very unique Kubert cover and it has everything he does great for a solemn war story that's anti-war with the hope of peace.

Looks like they used better adhesive on the title stat than Santa's mustache ;)

One of the all-time great comic book artists, on the classic character he's most associated with,for a special Christmas themed cover. An absolutely outstanding acquiaition and perhaps my favourite piece in your collection, Scott. Congratulations!

Great cover, there's something special about Christmas/Santa related art no matter what the title/characters are but Joe Kubert Sgt Rock is pretty awesome in general regardless of the Christmas aspect. Congrats!
