Age of Apocalypse: The Chosen #1 Page 22 - The Madri & Apocalypse

A nice end page to an Age of Apocalypse one-shot, The Chosen. Churchill did a couple of pages to tie together a series of pinups of the major players in the AoA.

A Madri, follower of Apocalypse, scans each of the mutants in the database to see whether Apocalypse had deemed them worthy, whether they be "chosen" or "forgotten”.

I loved so many concepts/different takes that the AoA had on the regular 616 universe. The Madri, or rather Madrox, Multiple Man, was one of them. As a kid fresh to comics, it was a startling reveal in the pages of Amazing X-Men to see Madrox prime, a drooling mess, powers taxed to the max, wearing a diaper and playing with children’s blocks, was the host body from whom the Madri duplicates originated from.
