Description
Ivan Reis and Joe Prado and Rod Reis

In this issue, Aquaman took an Atlantean relic to a Navy base for research. Soldiers in tech gear steal the relic. Aquaman leaps on their aircraft at take off, smashes a way in and the soldiers attack. One of them fires a weapon causing the craft to explode mid-air. Aquaman survives the explosion and plummets to earth, leaving a small impact crater. He gets up, looks around and realizes he's smack dab in the middle of a desert. Ivan's artwork of all that was gorgeous.

3 artists are credited on this pen and ink cover. Did Joe get a sand cramp requiring a tag in by Rod? It is an impressive cover and I am happy to have it. Those early days of the New 52 were cool. This Aquaman series was one of the best to come from it, in my opinion. But, The New 52 is so 2011. It's all Absolute nowadays. Will we see Absolute Aquaman anytime soon?

Thank you to Chiaroscuro Studios for their fantastic service and to Ivan, Joe and Rod for their incredible artwork.

Agreed! This series plus New 52 Bats (of course) were the best pieces of writing to come from that era. Congrats on snagging a piece of it!

The cover calls out to you with how much strain and tension is on Aquman's face and hands to try and climb out of this!

Great cover. The sense of panic on his face is amazing.
