Description

One day I was expousing that Kitty would be so much more badass if she wasn't such a defensive character. When she has a sword she is downright lethal. An opponent that can cut you up and you can't touch! So why not give her a gun like Agent Deeper from the Read Or Die OVA? Deeper was damn near an unstoppable assassin.

Kitty briefly used a gun in a a hand full issues of the Joss Whedon run of Astonishing X-Men and it was amazing! Since then everytime a comic comes out with her in it I usually say that it would be better if she had a gun. So this year for Christmas Hali drew me this piece of art homaging the Dave Stevens cover to Jonny Quest #5 with Kitty in her late 1990s costume.

Perfection with Lockheed as Bandit. Without Jonny and Hadji, you can see the silhouette of the building follow Kitty's form.
