Batman Adventures #30 p 17

The deadly trio of Mastermind, Mister Nice and the Perfesser are featured in this comedic tale from the comic based on Batman the Animated Series.

On this page the blowhard Mastermind goes into too much detail on a heist while Mr. Nice attempts an escape and the Perfesser puffs on his pipe in the background.

All three characters were lovingly based on actual DC editors: the obsessive Mastermind (Mike Carlin), the sympathetic Mister Nice (Archie Goodwin) and the long-winded Perfesser (Denny O'Neil).

I think artist Rick Burchett, who shows a real skill in caricature here, had a fun time drawing this story.
