Very nice emotion to the work with the many thick layers added to have more complexity and listless haunting feel to Cliff Brant's wandering.

Wow! You don't see too many illustrations like this on CAF, but it's a beaut. Love the style Walt Louderback was working in back in 1925. It's a very painterly style, I think. I love the thick brushstrokes Walt used here. They give the illustration a kind of casual look, as if it was just dashed off on a moment's notice. But I know that there is nothing simple about achieving the look of simplicity. I enjoy that Walt stuck to a color palette of black and white here. That also gives the painting a sense of simplicity, like a casual b&w photograph. Stunning pick-up, congrats!
