DescriptionThe last splash page!This is a grail page for me because this is a splash page from Grant Morrison's epic Batman run featuring Batman held captive by Devil Batman ( 1 of 3 Batmen mind controlled by the sinister Doctor Hurt). Batman #673 is only the fourth issue of Batman pencilled by longtime Batman artist Tony Daniel. I love this era when Tony was inked by Sandu Florea. Grant Morrison's Batman is my all-time favorite run on the Batman title and this issue represents the height of my interest. Batman fact: The Bat-Devil, Michael Lane is the first Black man to don the cape cowl. Lane would eventually become the new Azrael. This is by far one my best Ebay finds! Social/Sharing |
