DescriptionPaul Smith is the greatest X-Men artist of all-time. I love Byrne's grandeur, Cockrum's imagination and Neal Adams being, well Neal Adams. I can see why people are fond of other runs, but me to me there's only Smitty.I didn't get into comics until about 1981 but it was only the odd book here and there. In the winter of 1983 I spent a long time in the children's hospital. My dad and one of my aunts bought me comics - lots of comics - to pass some of those long days. Smitty's X-Men was in full flight and that's why he'll always be my guy. Thanks Paul, for taking this one on. It'll be mine forever. Social/Sharing |
