Cover art by Gil Kane features Spider-Man against both Kraven the Hunter and The Vulture and color guide has been neatly hand-colored and applied to illustration board w/penciled handwritten editorial notations and inked date. Sheet has stapled/taped "Marvel Comics Group" strip at top w/7/8" slice at upper right corner. Fine overall. Comes w/9x13.25" stiff paper cover containing stapled progressive proofs for the cover as produced by Chemical Color Plate Corp. Cover has "M Tales" title abbreviation and issue number in pencil. Set of seven glossy proofs show the various color splits used to produce the final published cover, as it appears on top sheet. Evenly aged w/crease at lower left corner but VF overall.
