Description

Mariko Yashida hears mysterious voices and has strange dreams that feel real. What is the connection between Mariko, the creatures called Oni and Kirisaki Mountain? This story is tale of magic, monsters and Marvel characters like you've never seen them before, beautifully rendered by Peach Momoko! THIS ONE IS SPECIAL! I have wanted to add a cover from Kael for YEARS into my personal collection. I love his work, it is so unique. When i saw this cover I had to have it. The overall angle chosen for the piece, the rain effect, the Japanese architecture in the background all stunning. Mariko herself is even more jaw dropping. Umbrella in one hand (masterfully done), Japanese Tanto in the other ready to use it on anyone who challenges her, and lastly I LOVE THE MASK! Just a piece i truly enjoy! Slightly oversized cover 12x18.

Her mask should automatically close up like the Iron Man helmet! Ngu's wash tones results in an aged look of myth and legend.
