In celebration of 200 issues of Batman/Superman team-ups (the first 71 issues of WF only featured the two in separate stories), this Roy Thomas-penned tale finds the pair reflecting on their earliest meetings as they engage in a lengthy battle with Atoman. This fantastic page revisits Superman #76 where the two are thrust together in strange circumstances. The highlight here is the dramatic final panel which mirrors one from the original story as the two change into their costumes with Batman in shadow and Superman bathed in light! Pencil and ink on DC Comics art board. 10 1/2" x 15 3/4".
