Description
Here's the third piece from this issue that I picked up at OAX... Each of these pages was totally different! What I liked about this was was the top panels of Cap talking to Peggy, the imagery of the America flag over the Nazi symbol, and of course, classic floating heads in the last panel trying to illustrate the diversity of the USA while Cap trying to figure out what America is, and what he symbolizes... Another beautiful rendered piece by Sal and Vince!!

Wow, great commentary by Cap about the diversity and complexity of our country ... and what it means to be free.   Freedom and diversity should never be taken for granted, because they could be taken away by the wrong kinds of leaders.

Sal drew a bunch of Nazis in panel 3 and a bunch more heads in the last panel, but Vince was in a hurry that day.

This should be posted to back up Anthony Mackie's words!  The American ideal spreads far beyond our borders, means more than a plot of land to be bought and sold, and leads to inspire democracy across the globe.

This should be your favourite pickup from OAX, for no other reason than the dialogue, which fits in perfectly with the state of America today!

The greatest Cap art collection ever continues to grow.

This was the era I read as a youth. Anti-heroes are a confusing concept. Steve Rogers was to me the soul of the type of America I dream of living in. He was the true hero for all people. As the adult reads this it makes me realize these type of pages formulated that belief.

Sal Buscema art never grows old to me. Congratulations on this addition Alberto and thanks for being so generous and posting your treasures here on CAF for all to enjoy!

yeah Floating Heads are simply irresistable, but every panel is really great here especially the symbolism/power of the USA flag above the Nazi symbol. congrats Alberto!
