Deja Vu...It's Denys Cowan month! No. I'm kidding but it is another Cowan piece as I post my pieces from my Original Comic Art Unboxing with Ruben DaCollector show.

Beautiful twice-up title splash which teamed up Deathlok and Ghost Rider. Fabulous design and execution from Cowan and Manley. Gritty & mean from Cowan one of the best to do it.

Great to have a Cowan splash from one of his signature characters.

A portion of the right side of the page was repositioned and has photostat elements, the original drawing is underneath the stats.

This particular issue is so surprising in that it has a minimalist appearance, in the vein of Toth or Mignola, but embellished by an inker in the Sienkiewicz vein. Manley's own art never had this look, so it appears he went out of his comfort zone to try to stick to Cowan's style as best he could, and the result looks really good!

This looks like a Frazetta homage with the hero at the top standing on a hill of dead bodies! Urban warfare fantasy!
