Description100 Bullets is one of my favorite non-superhero comic series and Eduardo Risso is one of my most favorite comic artists.I love how he uses black and white and negative space. The power of his art is that each and every panel of a comic page, a pin up or a commission that he draws, actually tells something or has a story of its own. When I got on his commission list, the subject was an easy choice (100 Bullets of course). I also had this idea that Agent Graves offering me a suitcase with 100 bullets. Although he doesn’t draw portraits of real people, he agreed to draw a guy in a suit with some resemblance to me. The commission exceeds all my expectations and contains every element that I have described above and why I love his art so much. I am very happy add this commission to my collection! Many thanks to Nicolŕs for the great service and making this happen! Social/Sharing |

Definitely, I requested 2 characters and the rest is actually background. The details of the bar, the shadows etc.

Flawless as Risso has to consider where every shadow logically falls. There's Agent Graves making another offer with the suitcase at the bar just in time for the superb owl.

Really? This is a commission? At first, I thought it was a splash page! There is so much work put into this one commission, it's fantastic! Love all the detail Eduardo put into this one drawing. The bar looks like someplace I've visited before. The bar stools, the lights, the posters on the wall, it's all perfect! Love all the characters at the bar. So if that's you in the suit, is that Arthur Adams (Second from the left)? Any other artists there I might know? Anyway, iphenomenal work from Eduardo Risso! Wonderful pick-up, congrats!
