DescriptionOh man… the Marco Rudy train is none stop to awesomeness!I’m not a big Commission guy as I’ve said in a few other posts.. but for #oax2025 I wanted to get into the spirit of the show so I signed up for a few. One of the first lists I got on was Marco’s .. the price was right for a full 11x17 colored piece.. and I had seen a few examples of what he was putting out so I went with one of my usual subjects.. good old Goblin Queen.. recently when I go this route my request is “classic Goblin Queen with Goblins” - trying to avoid that Mera look they have been running with recently and also love a few goblins.. well Marco took that request and absolutely turned it on its ear! So much so when he first sent me the scan I was taken aback as it was nothing I expected… but that wound up being in a good way… first of all the perspective he came up with is just ridiculous… the color palette is absolutely genius for the subject . How he laid out the scene creating an absolutely abstract look while capturing the insanity of Goblin Queen was inspired. AND he hid two other charcters in there , one of which I didn’t find until speaking to him while picking up! Couldn’t recommend him more! Social/Sharing |

If you want to live, DON'T take a drink every time Bill Cox says "I'm not a DC guy" or when Jason D says "I’m not a big Commission guy."
Jason gets great commissions! Now we just need Bill to get a nice Aparo Batman page!

Ha! Yea I guess after I'm done posting the Oax commisions I'll retire it , can you find the two hidden charcters Prof??

Don't know if they are 'hidden' but getting Cyclops and Sinister vibes in the 'hair' and above the 'demon dogs.'

Another gorgeous piece by Marco Rudy coming out of OAX, the posing, layering of colors and blending of elements makes his work really stand out.
Is this in contention to knock something else off the wall?

If Goblin Queen got an Æon Flux treatment, this would be the concept piece to sell the show to producers. Love it!

Oh wow, I thought I saw all of Maro's pieces from OAX but missed this one. This is a fantastic piece and totally different than the others he did. My take away with Marco is that he makes all his commissions unique and yet you know it is all Marco.
I had him do a Spiderman piece for me at OAX and he gave it a Dr. Strange kind of vibe. This one has a background that really shines. Congrats.
