Description

This may be the nicest of the Clark panels that I own. Dated 4/9/39, the panel features the husband and wife (sorry, I don't recall their names) as they make their way through the traffic rushing by. The husband states: "We'd better get out bank's advice on these bonds. Never pays to take chances when we're planning on our future."

The drawing in this piece is just lovely. Clark frames up the figures beatifully and the viewer's eye is really drawn across the panel due to the activity of the mark-making.
