DescriptionI will admit I didn’t know much about Cassara prior to OAX but some friends had told me how great he was, so I signed up for a commission, which I have posted before. When I went to pick it up, I browsed through his portfolio of art and was amazed by his work… While I wasn’t able to pick this up at OAX, I reached out to him a couple of weeks after OAX and agreed to buy some art! This cover caught my eye because of Cap being front and center! His style does remind me still of Cassaday, while being uniquely his! The rest of the Avengers are also portrayed, with an army of vampires in the bottom, since this was part of the Blood Hunt storyline! So grateful to have this piece!!Social/Sharing |

Cassarra is really one of the best guys working today at Marvel. He does have a style that pays tribute to Cassaday but not a direct copy. This cover is PACKED with characters, details, and iconic poses. sweet. congrats man!

Not just vampires, but facist vampires! The Cap pose is right out of the Cassaday era comics. He's posing when he should be punching vamps out.
