DescriptionHere we have something I bought so cheap I thought it was 2006. I don’t know if people just don’t like Joe Bennett or what. I think it’s a great splash page. I am not to familiar with the inker Ruy Jose. Guess how much it was……it was only $220. A hundred more thanks to Heritage fees but still pretty inexpensive. I am pretty jazzed to add it to my collection. What do you think?Social/Sharing |

It's not a matter if we like Bennett, but a matter of who Bennett likes/dislikes and how he expresses it in his artwork. Bennett was set free by Marvel to draw whatever artwork he wants. If you can separate that from how you evaluate art, then this is a great deal.

That is a great dynamic splash of the Hawks! I really like Bennet's take on Hawkman a lot and have a few pages by him that went pretty cheap. (I think they go cheap primarily because of some political issues, not a dislike of his art.)
I definitely would have picked this one up if I'd seen it - congrats!
