DescriptionI always wanted a John Byrne Fantastic Four page with him doing the pencils and inks. It is hard to find affordable Marvel art by John Byrne but I had my eye on this page and picked it up from Glen at Panel Page Art while at OAX. So is a big one off my bucket list, of course it probably means I need to get another one someday.I got most of the team on the page except for the Torch but I will trade him for Blackbolt of the Inhumans. Thanks to Kahlil and Steve L for their input when picked it up. Social/Sharing |

Mighty cool with Byrne's futuristic vision. It's design aesthetic from way back from Byrne's early ROG 2000 to Colossus to here.

FF off Earth adventures are the best! Byrne can really create a cool other worldly setting without even breaking a sweat, it just looks so convincing and cool. A very nice pick up...CONGRATS!!!

People always talk about jack Kirby and all the cool machines he included in his work, but John Byrne was just as obsessed with tech equipment. This page is a great example. Every panel is filled with alien devices and designs. Look how much work Byrne put into the room in the first and second panels--He even designed alien light fixtures! Then notice the alien spaceship he created for the third panel. And in the fourth panel, you see the inside structure of the Mother Ship they're flying through. John Byrne was an absolute genius at designing futuristic looking tach that looked real. And this page is a primo example. Stunning pick-up, congrats!

Glad you made it happen, man! HUGE check off the list! Each panel is like it's own splash - got the team sans HT sub BB top right, and love the way the ship is zooming out of panel 3! Congrats!

Love this issue and this page. What's better than Byrne doing the FF
