Description

The vast majority of my Rhino collection (all by the Kirby and Romita Sr so far) have been commissions that I have gotten myself. However, I do keep an eBay saved search just in case anything pops up, and I found myself watching this Art Baltazar piece for the past several weeks. There's something about the messy abstraction that drew me in. The overlapping legs and speed lines that remind me of cartoon Taz spinning. The goofy mismatched eyes. It is so simple, yet so quintessential Rhino.

It's wild cartooning that works for the Rhino who's charge is his main weapon! The swirling colors within also show that uncontrolled kinetic energy!
