DescriptionI'm a big fan of anime and manga, and...well X-Men! While I haven't read any of the X-Men manga books, this was a fun add. Plus it has a Wolverine with costume bat ears!So the story here: In Japan, Marvel released a manga of the 1992 US animated cartoon. Later they translated the booked into English, and released it back in America starting at issue 23. This cover was used for #23 and a zoomed in image for #24. No...I didn't win it in the contest sadly... Social/Sharing |

You won this!! Awesome. Congrats. And to think after the horse riding accident when the proctologist said it couldnt be removed , you thought it was going to be a bad thing.

Great to see the X-Men Manga getting some love, I collected the series, didn't read, but reminds me it would be a fun adventure to visit. Cheers!

Tim Townsend went overboard making this look like Joe Mad. Good thing Randy Queen's style already leaned that way at Top Cow during the 90's and an X-Men cover would definitely have that manga energy even if it wasn't officially meant for the Japanese market.

Never even heard of this one before, but if you love X-Men and the Joe Mad era manga influenced art style, then thisis the cover for YOU! Which, I suppose, is precisely why YOU own it. Great looking piece. Kudos, man!

I remember reading this series but don't remember these two covers, so I must have dropped the title before these came out. Always fun seeing Randy Green X-Men art though, and those Townsend inks.... Congrats!
