Did you ever ask him what he was doing earn a living in the time after he stopped doing comics in the 80's until he began hitting the convention circuit in recent years?
I sure did as I had a phone interview with him that I submitted to comic book creator magazine awaiting publication.
Doom is a great choice to represent what he does best! The powerful and mysterious characters really pop with his inks. Conan goes the other way and to show his finer touch.
