Description

"Happiness is a warm gun," sang MODOK. The karaoke bar where we caught up with him was filled beyond capacity, and MODOK was giving a performace for the ages. Not two hours earlier, he'd finished off his former friend, Coda, in an explosive and bloody display rarely realized or seen. The relief and excitement carried MODOK to the doors of his favorite place on Earth, the place where he could play out his fantasy to be John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Mel Torme, Barbara Streisand. We tried to attain an interview with him, but never had a chance. He was in a crowd-pleasing ecstasy, and one could only sit back, be captivated, and enjoy the show.
